Batch rotate images

Rotating is among the the bread and butter of image editing operations. With ResizeMe, rotating many images at once is a piece of cake, and this tutorial will show you how.

Requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or later. Snow Leopard ready.


Step 1: Drag in images

Download and install ResizeMe if you haven't already done so. In your Applications folder, launch ResizeMe. Drag in the pictures that you want to rotate into ResizeMe's file table.

Step 2: Select Rotate

Select Rotate from the operations pop-up menu.

Step 3: Set rotation options

Enter the number of degrees by which you want to rotate the images.

Click on the "Background color" color box to set a fill color for pixels outside of the rotated image area. If you want these pixels to be transparent, set the Opacity slider to 0 and make sure to choose an image format that supports transparency (such as PNG) as the output format.


Step 4: Save the files

Once you've set all your rotate options, click Go, pick a destination for your rotated images and click Go.
