- Reduce file size. Compressing large files can help you free up space on your hard disk.
- Send large files. Bundling files into an archive makes it easier to send and share them.
To create an archive on your Mac with Rucksack:
- Download and launch Rucksack
- Drag in the files you want to archive
- Click Create Archive
- Pick a name for your backup file
- Pick a file format. For best compression we recommend 7z.
- Click Next
