Sweep disk hogs
As you work on your Mac OS X system, you may find that your disk is taking up ever more space, but you don't know where to start cleaning up.

The hard part is finding those large and often useless files and directories that occupy most of the space.

Sponge makes finding large files and directories on your Mac a breeze:
  1. Download and launch Sponge
  2. Click Sweep Disk Hogs
  3. Select a disk or directory that you would like to clean up
Sponge will then show you the disk usage of individual files and directories, sorted by size so that you can quickly see which files are hogging your precious disk space.

Effective
As with many things, the 80/20 rule often applies to disk usage: 20% of your files take up 80% of the space. Sponge makes it easy to track down those 20%.

Requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or later. Snow Leopard ready.
